Viewpoint Counsellors

The founders of Viewpoint Counselling Psychology Inc., are registered psychologists Diana Gudim and Maureen Theberge. Through consultation, Diana and Maureen discovered that one of the barriers to people receiving help is the unfortunate stigma that may be perceived when utilizing mental health services. They wanted to help shatter that stigma by creating a private practice that warmly welcomed those who struggled with life’s challenges and were seeking a happier life.  In 2012, Diana and Maureen proudly opened Viewpoint Counselling Psychology in Northwest Calgary. Here people experience compassion, collaboration, and acceptance.  They learn that not only are their issues normal, there is hope.  Viewpoint has now grown to include associates; all talented professionals who share Viewpoint’s original vision of providing a comfortable and safe environment for people to obtain help.

The counsellors at Viewpoint value life-long learning, actively pursuing opportunities to learn new skills and techniques to share with their clients.  Not only do they have excellent academic training and effective clinical skills, they bring a wealth of personal and professional experience to their practice as well.
