Nicole Bradac

Nicole Bradac holds a Master of Counselling degree and is a Canadian Certified Counsellor. Nicole works with clients having a variety of issues including grief, divorce, life transitions, job loss, financial hardship, caretaker burnout, pre and post-natal issues, parenting, trauma, gender and sexuality, anxiety, and depression. Nicole also has experience working with post-secondary students, empathizing with the challenges they face as well as recognizing their strengths.

Nicole’s therapeutic approach is person-centered, using techniques and strategies from Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Narrative, Mindfulness and Solution-Focused Therapy.  Nicole believes in human resiliency and adaption and believes healthy connections with ourselves and others is fundamental to our well-being.

Nicole appreciates that stress can become overwhelming, and how we might require more than friends or family for support, particularly if friends and family are a factor in our stress. Nicole also recognizes the challenges/apprehensions inherent with change and life transition.  Nicole offers her client’s the opportunity to work with a trained professional bringing insight, empathy, and guidance to her therapeutic practice. Nicole believes it takes courage to seek help, her warmth, authenticity, and humor putting her clients at ease.

Nicole is a parent to two funny and perceptive children, and two loving and playful dogs. Nicole enjoys travel, and from it, appreciates the cultural differences and the common humanity that we share. She also enjoys painting and yoga, when she’s not spending time with family and friends.
