Nancy Bergeron

Nancy is a Registered Provisional Psychologist. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. Nancy works with adults and teens and is trained in Psycho-educational Assessment. Through her past work experience in crisis intervention, Nancy has come to appreciate how life stressors can overwhelm individuals and couples. Nancy believes every person has untapped resiliency, strength, and potential within.

Nancy uses Humanistic, Integrative, Cognitive Behavioural, Solution Focused, and Narrative Therapies, along with Psychodynamic Therapies. Nancy views each client as a unique individual and customizes her therapeutic approach based on their specific challenges and needs.

Nancy provides therapy for anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and loss, and  is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and a Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist (CSAT, CMAT). She received her training from the renowned International Institute of Addiction and Trauma Professionals (IITAP) in Carefree, AZ. Nancy has done extensive research on Sex Addiction and Partner trauma.

Nancy brings acceptance, empathy, and kindness to her clients. She believes in humour as well as tears in her therapeutic relationships. Nancy has extensively travelled North America, immersing herself in the neighbourhoods/cultures of the places she has visited. In her personal time, Nancy loves to entertain and feed family & friends, bike riding, and walking. During the summer months, you will find her in the yard soaking in nature and gardening.
