Aisha Boyce

Aisha Boyce is a Registered Provisional Psychologist who earned her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from McGill University. While in Montreal, Aisha supported sexual assault survivors, their friends and families in both English and French. It was through this experience that Aisha developed a deep and profound respect for her client’s innate resilience. Her speciality is assisting and supporting youth, and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression and difficult life transitions.

She uses a relational and developmental perspective and is also able to work from an eclectic approach, drawing from many therapeutic perspectives when appropriate. Her empathetic, calm, and creative nature makes her an effective and approachable counsellor. Aisha believes the therapeutic relationship is a sacred space for allowing people to become aware of and act upon their own strengths, values and goals.

Aisha grew up in the province of Ontario, Canada. She taught English in South Korea and Mexico. Aisha loves reading novels, cycling, dancing, making music, and spending time with friends and family.

Life is not the way it is supposed to be. It is the way it is. They way you cope with it is what makes the difference.
